My painting Quantum Leap is an intuitive, happy, colorful abstract. It was inspired by life experience, personal growth, and the need to spread love and joy with my painting. “This series of paintings is a journey into my imagination. As an introvert my inner world is where I’m always most at home. With paint on canvas or paper, I escape into a place of beauty and magic. Each painting consists of layer upon layer of acrylic paint, sometimes with the addition of other media such as graphite, wax crayon, china marker, house paint, collage papers. These works are intuitive in nature: as I work I combine spontaneity with intention to create a pleasing harmonious balance.” I've used only high quality artist's acrylics and the painting is varnished for protection. The bright colors of turquoise, teal, blue, green, and pops of pink and yellow give the painting a bright and cheerful feel. There is a bit of texture from the brush strokes.The sides are painted white. Ready to hang. Hang painting directly onto 2 nails or screws 3 inches apart and level on the wall. This prevents slippage and the need to constantly straighten the painting. Signed and dated on the back.
